Star Legacy Foundation

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reducing pregnancy loss and neonatal death and improving care for families who experience such tragedies. They are a community of families, health professionals, researchers, policy makers, and individuals dedicated to helping every pregnancy have a happy ending. Star Legacy also provides online video support groups for: Bereaved Parents, Grieving Grandparents, Pregnancy After Loss and Parenting After Loss.

 Pregnancy After Loss Support (PALS)

A community support resource for women experiencing the confusing and conflicting emotions of grief mixed with joy during the journey through pregnancy after loss. They seek to help expectant mothers celebrate their current pregnancy by choosing hope over fear while still nurturing and honoring the grief over the loss of their deceased child. PALS also moderates 13 private peer-to-peer Facebook groups.

Return to Zero: H.O.P.E.

Transforming the culture of silence and isolation around pregnancy and infant loss through awareness, education and support. They provide resources for bereaved parents, family, friends and providers. Return to Zero holds Women’s healing retreats multiple times a year.

A peer-to-peer pregnancy and infant loss support group. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Cornerstone Bible Chapel 3231 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY  14624.

  


Compassionate Friends –

Rochester Chapter

A support group that offers parents who have lost a child the opportunity to share with others in similar circumstances. The group is led by a professional advisor and bereaved parents. Meetings are the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month from 7:00 pm via Zoom until further notice.

Molly Bears is a 501(c)(3) organization that creates weighted teddy bears, free of charge, for families who have experienced all forms of infant loss. Bears can weigh as little as half an ounce up to 22 pounds. They currently accept 150 orders per month.

 The Cooper Project

A Rochester, NY based non-profit providing free handmade necklaces to mothers who have lost a child through stillbirth or infant loss.
